7-Day Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater & Tarangire Safari

Our safari starts early morning with pick you up from your accommodation in Arusha or from the Kilimanjaro International Airport. You will board your waiting 4*4 Land Cruiser and start your journey to Lake Manyara National Park following the itinerary briefing. Before going on a game drive in the park, you will arrive at your lodging, check in, and eat lunch.

The scenery of the relatively small Lake Manyara National Park is stunning. Water buffaloes, zebras, antelopes, wildebeests, and a sizable population of baboons are present during the green season, when the lake's waters cover two-thirds of the park. The park's main allure is its tree-climbing lions, which have adapted to resting in treetops and avoiding the daytime heat.

A sanctuary for birdwatchers, Lake Manyara offers a breathtaking view of the flock of pink-hued flamingos against the horizon, as well as the pelicans that are always by their side. Of its 400-recorded species, over 50 species are birds of prey including the African Hawk Eagle and the Crowned Eagle. Others are migratory birds, present at the lake in the months of November to April.

Wake up to a hefty breakfast before departing the Lake Manyara National Park for the Serengeti National Park. You will arrive in time to check-in before proceeding to the Serengeti National Park with parked lunch for an afternoon game drive.

The Serengeti is home to a diversity of wildlife and despite it being a protected park, it is unfenced, thus leaving migration corridors open and ensuring free roaming of wildlife. Serengeti hosts one of the largest concentration of predators including lions, cheetahs and hyenas. Herds of African Elephants gently tread its vast plains and woodlands, feasting on leaves and branches in its path.

Relish a picnic lunch within the park while overlooking the expanse of Serengeti’s golden plains. Afterwards, make your way back to your lodging/accommodation, enjoy a delectable meal and have a goodnight’s rest.

Begin the day with a leisurely breakfast at your accommodation. Then proceed into the Serengeti for further exploration of the parks wonders for the whole day. You will have packed lunch with you as you embark on this thrilling adventure.

Serengeti, famously ‘the place where the land runs on forever’, has four sections including the Eastern, Northern, Central and Southern sections. In Northern Serengeti, the part where the Serengeti meets Kenya’s Masai Mara National Reserve, abundant wildlife species such as zebras, wildebeests, gazelles, elands, giraffes, elephants, lions, hippos and crocodiles dwell within the stunning landscapes.

The Eastern sector of Serengeti welcomes the wildebeests and zebras back from the Mara due to its green pastures the wildlife can feed on, while the western sector hosts most of the carnivores, elephants and Nile crocodiles in the park. The southern and central sectors are the most attractive sectors of the Serengeti, with a dotted savannah furnished with acacia trees and large herds of wildlife species.
Traverse the Serengeti plains, visiting all its sectors and enjoying an experience of a lifetime. For Bird Lovers, the park in its entirety also hosts over 500 recorded bird species scattered across all sections of the park. Return to the accommodation after the game drive to freshen up, have dinner and an overnight stay.

Leave Serengeti National Park after breakfast and proceed to the Ngorongoro Crater, which is part of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

The Ngorongoro Volcanic Complex (Lake Eyasi half-graben) includes the Ngorongoro Crater. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the crater is home to a diverse range of huge species and boasts of a distinct ecosystem. During a game drive in the park, which is home to the Big Five wildlife species, one frequently encounters a pride of lions. Large herds of zebras and wildebeests that roam its expansive plains are among the other species located in the park.
After the game drive, head back to your lodging to unwind, eat a hot meal, and spend the night.

The Ngorongoro Crater, referred to as the "garden of Eden" by some due to its protected animal sanctuary, provides exceptional landscapes and scenic vistas. Immerse yourself in the wilderness while savoring a picnic lunch in the park. Certain animals inhabit the crater year-round, while others such as the wildebeests, migrate in and out, returning during the calving season.

The Olduvai Gorge, known as the "Cradle of Mankind," is also located within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The Gorge, which is reputed to be the location of the first discovered remains of the first human beings to roam the earth, provides evidence for human evolution through discovery of ancient stone tools.
Return to your lodging after an incredible safari game drive to unwind, savor a hot meal, and spend the night.

After checking in, have breakfast at your lodging before exploring the splendor of Tarangire National Park on a game drive.

The Tarangire River, located in Tarangire National Park, serves as the main water source for the Tarangire ecosystem's wildlife species throughout the yearly dry season. The best time of year to watch games is during the June to October season. Often, large herds of African elephants, buffalos, zebras, and wildebeests tread down to the banks of the Tarangire River.

The entire park, covered in breathtakingly ancient Baobab trees, provides a tranquilly picturesque backdrop. The park, a natural habitat and home to cat predators, frequently presents an encounter with a pride of lions during game viewing.
Savor a picnic lunch in the park's designated picnic areas amidst the wilderness. Following that, return to your lodging for a delicious dinner and get some rest for the night.

After breakfast leave for Arusha with possible stop overs at curio shops. Drop off at The Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA) or your hotel in Arusha.
